The results are in!

So I have been worried about many things lately but on the top of my list is not being able to have kids. I went in a few weeks ago to have an ultrasound to find out whether or not I had PCOS (poly cystic ovarian syndrome). After a, in my opinion, highly evasive ultrasound I have the results. All is normal in my woman parts. The test was "unremarkable" and "showed no signs of PCOS". RELIEF!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

So now on to the next best guess of the doctors. Its hard not to be bitter with them because thats all they do...guess. Granted they are educated guesses but still they are not much. This doctor that I saw last time basically walked into my room, introduced herself since we had never met before, and said "Well, since you are not pregnant and not having a period I think you have PCOS." My next question is, what is it? She explains. I ask will it affect my chances of getting pregnant, she says yes. Que my heart to break. This doctor pretty much gave me a diagnosis with out any cause. It caused me so much stress and heart break over this past three weeks all for a hunch. I know that all is not right for me in that neck of the woods and the prognosis may still be the same, but gosh! Someone needs to learn a little bedside manner and reaffirm that a hunch is just that, a hunch and not anything more.

But, Brett and I are relieved needless to say. We are going to give it some more time before I go back to the doctor. Next time I do go in though I know not to let the doctor rely on their magic 8 ball so much for an answer.

Major Meltdown

Yesterday was a tough one. I have come to the conclusion that I am probably depressed. Its mostly from being alone for a good part of the day and also not being able to work for the past year. Having one car has been really tough. Obviously, Brett has to go to work and his schedule changes so much its hard for me to find something that will work with it. I have been trying to keep myself busy, but honestly, there really isnt much to do.

Another biggy is babies. We have been wanting to have a baby and I have found out that there is a possibility that I may not be able to have kids. My doctor is tested me for Poly cystic ovarian syndrome. If it does come back positive, chances of me having one with out medical help is not likely.

Brett was really sweet today. I told him last night what was going on with me and how bad I was feeling so today he took me out and helped me to have a really fun day. I really have a great husband who would do anything for me, and for that I am very, very lucky.

I seriously hate my upstairs neighbors!

They are demons that seriously jump around all freaking day long and it echos in my sad little downstairs apartment all day and night. Plus our bedroom door is not hung correctly so it rattles each time they move...very fun. I have let my management know about the problem and as I guessed would happen, nothing done...so far.

Due to all this, when Brett gets orders we have decided if he has the choice between here and anywhere else, to take that anywhere else position. That way we can break this horrible lease and move on to greener pastures.

Our Gurnee apartment....

I seriously miss my cute apartment in Gurnee. It was new, well insulated, wonderful neighbors and perfect management. I would recommend that place to anyone. Here on the other hand, I would wish I had the balls to go up to people touring this place to tell them what a crap whole it is here.

Our vacation

What a fun trip! We had a blast in California and we wished we could have stayed there forever. We went to see the temple lights. It was a freezing cold night and super windy, but the lights were beautiful.

My dog Elinore was so happy to see us again. I missed her so much! I wish I could have taken her as a carry on back to VA

For Chrismas, my mom made Brett a Christmas Sweater and bought a light up Santa hat. I wore her Christmas vest to match

We decided to go mini golfing at Gold n Stuff and had so much fun. Brett won but only because he cheated...just kidding.

I got to see some of my friends that I have been missing this past year. Patti and I went to lunch at Souplantation! MMMMMMM it was awesome!

I didnt get any with Sharon unfortunately.

We also went and saw Avatar! Holy cow what an amazing movie! I totally recommend it to anyone!

My parents took us to old town San Diego for the day. I want this house! It is so pretty

 This is outside a Hacienda

Here is Brett in front of a Haunted House

We celebrated our
one year anniversary while we were down. My mom saved the top of our cake
so we each ate a bite of it for the sake of tradition. It was actually pretty moist and yummy but
after a few bites my mouth started tingling...

Brett decided to grow our his goatee and surprised me one morning by shaving it into this little beauty. After that he shaved in into a molestash. I was not too happy about that

We visited grandparents :D I love his grandma, she is so much fun!
Here we are out to dinner the night before we left. The food was awesome and it was so nice to spend time with family.

Our last In n Out burger

With my sister...sorry about my weirdness in this picture.

My parents. I was so sad to say goodbye to them. I miss them already. Hopefully we will be back soon.
